What coaching looks like
People come to coaching for many reasons.
Sometimes there is a clear turning point, a job change, a family shift. Other times the signal is quieter, just a feeling that it is time for something to be different.
In a session, you bring what is present. It might be a decision, a fear, something you are avoiding, or a feeling you cannot quite name yet. Sessions are fifty minutes, and there is no right way to use them. Whatever is there when we meet, that is where we begin, and we let it unfold from there.
Some people work with me for a handful of sessions, others for many months. It depends on what you are working through. For most people, I recommend starting with a three month partnership. That gives us enough time to go deeper than a single conversation and let real change take root.
What it is
- Time and space to see what is actually true for you
- Questions that help you hear your own voice, not what you think you should say
- A steady partnership at your own pace
- Permission to be exactly as you are, tender, unfinished, imperfect
- Support for finding your way to choices you feel good about
What it is not
- Advice or a five step plan
- A fixed program or formula
- Pressure to have it all figured out
- Therapy
